7W of red...that sucker must be painfully bright. Remember I built a 1W red-orange Luxeon Star into a flashlight a few years ago. Was a blindingly bright thing itself anyway, but thanks to the shape of the die (think upside-down pyramid), even with a pretty modest reflector it was possible to focus it into an almost laser-like beam. Wonder what ever happened to it...
