Philips 4ft 40w Batten

Comments:This batten dates from 1966 going by the capacitor date and is seen here restored with the Ascot tube that it came with. Was in in dirty, rusty state when collected. It's part of an Ebay haul that also included two 1978 5ft pop packs with Thorn and an Atlas super 5 tube. It involved a 120 mile round trip to North Wales but that was fine as it took in some breathtaking Welsh countryside!

Love these fittings! The Streamlite AKA the Crompack 2! Looking superb Rob. One of those crimp cap Crompton daylight 33s would finish this off nicely!
