Certainly will be one of the very last! I've always been rather partial to this model of PP!

Ah! From the days when Thorn battens were made from more than tin foil! Look after a few of these for a church (some still have cover plate screws rather than the turn buckles) must be a good 30 yrs old now, all still going strong!

The spine is still the original from the 1970's fittings - the Thorn logo embossed into it is the 70's logo!

Yes, always thought these were well made, quality fittings, to be honest, most stuff they made back then was quality!

Yep much better than todays crap, with good atlas gear. Watch out for those turnbuckles though, they can break/snap over time
|

Yeah the turnbuckles can go brittle. Not much chance of these getting brittle with the little amount of use it's likely to get!
