Are these magnetic? I see a couple out! With most stores here now mainly using electronic HF, this scenario usually signifies a dead ballast LOL

I'd say magnetic lamps appear black at the ends! Nice store lighting most stores have ditched their 8 foots now! Mad

most of the time the electronic ballasts are wired for both lamps so one out=both out. Massive fail  Nice shot diesel Very Happy

I love those kind of 8 foot fitting here dieselducy. Yes most of these have are magnetic ballast, they have cut out socket if the lamp removed. they wont operate, and second those slimeline 8 foot will drive the tube to vacume loss, as they dont have EOL protection, if the lamp recitfies that when it kills the magnetic ballast. and there instant start. only thing I dont really feel bad if these 8 foot get converted to HF T12 or T8s only thing HF is good at on Instant start lamps.
