Comments: | Inspired by Toms recent dangerous plug post. I don't know why I ever thought it would be a good idea to buy these from Ebay last year. The adapter is un-fused and has no safety shutter, the cover snaps off the control box easily exposing live mains and check out that single insulated super thin flex! Needless to say these don't get used, I just keep them as an example of dangerous electrics available on Ebay. They were so cheap that it wasn't worth returning them, I did however leave negative feedback indicating that these lights do not conform to UK safety standards. |

Truly diabolical quality!

That truly is diabolical!!!! These are a killer like this really. If these were used on a circuit protected by a BS 3036 30A I know what my bets are on melting first!!!!!

I bought some from a garden centre in the end with a low voltage transformer. Quite a lot more expensive but a small price to pay for not having a burnt down house.

These are shocking (pun intended)! The crap that pours in from China is seemingly exempt from British safety standards.

Not only that, places like Amazon and Ebay don't seem to care
