Transtar used to (and still do) make some lovely gear. The K series is SRS!

I had it down as a quickstart, the tube starts almost instantly when wired up. An SRS fitting is very much on my wish list, SRS Thorn pop packs where in wide spread use in all 3 of my schools, some still are for that matter. The college had Courtney pope style SRS fittings but they were already being phased out in the early 90s refurb.

Nice save, I`m sure I had a Transtar ballast a long time ago, but I can`t remember what lamp it was for?
