And it flashed just as brilliantly as intended all those years ago! After much contemplation, it had to be done! Bit of a shame to flash a lamp after 60 odd years but it was worth it! In thre name of science and all that!

It was worth doing as that was what it was made for and otherwise you would have never known what it would look like!
