Comments:The second job (after making a cup of tea) when I moved into my house was to replace the two pendants with fluorescent ligting. Here I have a 70s pop pack with opal diffuser on the left. To the right is a Fitzgerald delux slim line light pack with a Ring branded opal diffuser that I bought from a DIY store in the early 90s, but works very well! They both have Philips warm white tubes and give a very pleasant, bright even but glare free light! The photo doesn't do it justice. Just need to eliminate that awful beige paintwork next!

Yes!! Down with the pendants and certainly no GU10 or LED! Very Happy

Proper kitchen lighting. I feel fluorescent battens will become the next vintage retro trend!
