Yes you can tell that this is old too! That wood pole has done well, I would of thought this would be mid 50s at the newest with that type of wood pole!

Looking at it again this might of been TPN on that pole as they have insulators and if you look the conduit for that lamp seem to go up!?

I think you may be spot on there Kev! Notice how the conduit is formed into a spout at the top where the cables would be tapped to the overheads? No evidence of any gear suggests this was GLS!

This looks very similar to the incandescent fixtures that were once common in Glasgow, and can still be found (albeit abandoned) in one or two places.
