These sound like good lamps. I wish they would make them in 4000k and 6000k as 2700k is too yellow for my liking.

I wonder if they have different colour phosphors for this type of lamp?

I imagine that we may well start to see different colout temperatures as time goes on. Especially worth keeping an eye on the Japanese and other Asian markets as higher colour temperatures are favoured over there (Japan being about the only place I can think of that clear mercury lamps can still be found...or at least could until pretty recently).
