Great score for any collection, I have only ever seen one in use, it was an 8 foot in an old garage store room.

BLOODY HELL, this is the first one of these I have seen! Surprised I don't know of any other collectors to have one of these???

Cool that it's so ripe too this needs a special place somewhere not standing on end so to REDUCE the chance of the end falling off!

Yeah I was quite surprised to find this! One cap needs repairing as quite a large chunk of paxolin is missing and the pin is no longer supported.

I'm still yet to have the end drop off of any of my tubes!

Jammy git! Smile Buses from the 70s is the main place i remember 2ft 20w reflectorlite tubes being used.

Cinders and ashes Eliot!! What a find!! Only one I've ever seen was in a social club bogs where I was working around 15 years ago!

Oh yeah, 'working' in men's bogs eh Tom?!
I saw some 20w versions of these on the school bus I used to take to school every day, so maybe start raiding bus scrap yards?!

Wow thanks, I didn't realise this was quite such a rarity, although I've certainly never seen any before!

I have a few Philips ones from 1971!
SuperSix   [Jul 30, 2014 at 11:12 AM]
Ah yes, were they the ones you found still in use in a wholesalers?
Kev   [Jul 30, 2014 at 09:53 PM]
Yes got them just in time really as noticed one was EOL the other day! Sad

Can't say I've ever seen one of these. I've changed THOUSANDS of tubes over the years, but never one of these!
