Nice! Is this an original or one you've converted? Wink

Thanks! Original Tom, came in at work along with three pallets of old Fitzgerald and Philips modulars after a social club re-fit! I've got to know the sparky too, gonna see if I might be able to get some more goodies! Cool

I'm thinking this would go nicely with the 6' PP with angle reflector Paul sent me! I promised I'd install it! Very Happy

Has this got a screw coverplate or turnbuckles?
SuperSix   [Jul 21, 2013 at 06:27 PM]
Bridge screws! When did the turnbuckles come in Paul? Early to mid 80s?

Got the old 70s Thorn logo on the inside of the lampholders too rather than the later one moulded into the ends.

I'd say early to mid 80s too! I'm sure Thorn didn't release HF variants until c1986 if their Lighting Journal is anything to go by. What logo is present on the maker's label inside? The old logo remained on the lampholder inserts right through to the end IIRC
SuperSix   [Jul 21, 2013 at 07:02 PM]
Ah right! Label has the late 80s-90s logo on it, same as what's on the ballast!

I'll have to check those Thorn Lighting Journals out I think! Cool
